Robbie graduated from KSU in the spring of 1997. He joined Christian Challenge staff that summer where he has been working ever since - except for about 2 1/2 years where he and his wife lived overseas. Robbie married Gail in 1998 and they have 3 children. Robbie recently became the collegiate director for Christian Challenge in all of Kansas and Nebraska.

Dave was born and raised on a family farm in Iowa. He attended Iowa State University before living in Kenya and California. After finishing his masters at Golden Gate Seminary, he moved to Manhattan to join staff at Christian Challenge in 1991. He is married to Darla and has four children, Mary, Suzanne, Thomas and Kristine. When he is not meeting with students, Dave runs a roofing business on the side.
DAVE & DARLA GEVOCK
David and Rachel both graduated from Kansas State and met in Christian Challenge during their time as students. They have been married since 2015 and have two girls, Margo and Corrie. They have been on staff with Christian Challenge since 2014 where David serves as the director of freshman and Rachel serves as the Challenge Internship coordinator. Both are passionate to see the Gospel spread throughout the whole world and are convinced that the college campus is one of the best places to see God lay a foundation for the Gospel in people's lives.
DAVID & RACHEL IRONS
Shawn and Erin both grew up in Wichita, KS. They met in Manhattan and got to know each other through the Challenge Internship, then got married in May of 2022! Erin joined staff in 2021 and Shawn joined as the worship leader in 2022. They enjoy coffee, being outside, and having the best job in the world together! They love getting to meet college students and seeing how the Gospel changes lives!

Nate grew up in Nairobi, Kenya as a missionary kid and came to K-State in the fall of 2000. He met Erika, his lovely wife and partner in ministry, through Christian Challenge and they were married in the summer of 2004. He then joined staff as the worship leader in January 2005, after graduating from KSU with a Secondary Elementary degree. He loves his job connecting with college students and leading them in worship.
NATE & ERIKA SAPP
Melody is the Executive Director of Alongside Women Inc., a ministry she founded in order to help raise up the next generation of female ministry staff. She graduated from New Mexico State and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has spent 30 years in collegiate ministry. She has served of staff at Eastern New Mexico University, California State University --Chico, the University of Nebraska and with OneLink International. Currently, Melody resides in Manhattan, Kansas.
Jim and Courtney met at Kansas State and have been married since April of 2015. They both absolutely love what they do with Challenge. Their son Javi is a ball of passion and energy and their daughters Jocelyn and Kendra are always bursting with joy! When they aren't meeting with students or hosting events, they love going to the rock wall at the Rec Center or just relaxing and playing games at home together or with friends.
JIM & COURTNEY WOODS
Staci grew up in Liberty, Missouri and came to Kansas State in the fall of 2013. She graduated with a degree in Families Studies and went on to get her MA of Counseling. Staci primarily works with sorority women and directs a non-profit working with mental health within the Panhellenic community. She recently married Jake in October 2022. She is thankful for the opportunity to do life with students through life groups or coffee dates. Staci loves traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with friends.
Brian grew up in Haysville, KS and originally came to Kansas State as an architecture student. He came to faith as a sophomore in college, then transferred to MCC to get his degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry. He met his wife Mindi through Christian Challenge and came on staff in 1997. Brian oversees the LIFE group ministry and leadership training.
BRIAN & MINDI STURM
Jodi grew up in Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching Kindergarten for two years, she moved to Turkey where she lived for three years and developed meaningful relationships with Turks over countless glasses of tea. After spending six years in Ames, Iowa with Cornerstone Church and the Salt Company, she moved to Manhattan to join the Christian Challenge staff. She loves meeting with friends, running, hiking, traveling to new places and spending time with her nieces and nephews!
Andrew is married to Emily and has four kids (Caleb, Elijah, Judah, and Chloe). He grew up in Mexico as a missionary kid and has a passion for making the name of Jesus known to the nations. He joined the Christian Challenge staff team to help out with our Link international ministry, as well as seeking to help students who may be interested in overseas missions. Andrew also serves as the Missions Pastor at Northridge Church and loves getting to care for their missionary partners!
Brooke grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and quickly turned into a wildcat fan once she stepped foot on K-State's campus. She graduated with a degree in Family Studies and a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies. She interned for Christian Challenge for 2 years and then joined staff in 2019. Some of her favorite things include discipling college gals, arrow coffee, and the mountains!
Emma grew up in Overland Park, KS and joined the wildcat family in the fall of 2015! She graduated in 2019 with a degree in human development and family science! She just finished up her first year on staff with Christian Challenge and loves seeing God working in students lives! She loves meeting new humans, singing musical songs at the top of her lungs and all things Disney!! Go Cats!
